Aphrodite 2016 i
s a native Pensacolaian and comes from a well- respected family that have been involved in Mardi Gras since the turn of the century. She lives in a home built by her grandparents that is over 100 years old and has been President of many local Krewes over the years.  She’s also been on KOL’s court and had the honor of being Lafitte’s Queen. She has two children and three grandchildren; her grandson is a member of the Court this year.  She’s been involved in local sports associations for over 40 years and has achieved national recognition.  She’s worshiped at Immanuel Lutheran her entire life and you might find her creating beautiful flower arrangements at a local florist.  She cherishes her friendships made over the years!

Apollo
, who is identified with the sun was born in El Dorado Arkansas and is a member of Krewe of Lafitte and is “volunteered” by his wife as laborer for many other Krewes. 

For 41 years he has taught Physical Education in Santa Rosa County and is retiring at the end of this school year.  He’s a member of Milton High School’s Sports Hall of Fame and has participated in the U.S. Olympic festival for softball and has been a member of 25 National Championship softball teams.  He coached the Pace High School’s 2007 State Championship fast pitch softball team with his wife of 24 years, best friend and love of his life, Susan.  Together they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
